PickleMapper (picklemapper.com) is a directory of pickleball tournaments run by DCODED. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to get it deleted. You can browse the whole site without an account.
What we collect
- Your account. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. If you sign in with an emailed code, we receive your email address. We don't receive or store Google passwords.
- Things you save. Tournaments, players, venues, organizers and searches you save, plus anything you add to your profile, such as a DUPR rating, a home location or your preferred distance units.
- Newsletter sign-ups. Your email address and the area you want tournaments for (a location and radius).
- Usage data. We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies and records pages visited, approximate location, device and browser. To suggest tournaments near you, we may use the approximate location of your IP address.
Tournament, player and results information on the site comes from public tournament listings, not from you.
How we use it
- To run your account and show what you've saved.
- To send email you asked for: sign-in codes, reminders about tournaments you saved, and the weekly digest if you subscribed.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
We don't sell your information and we don't show ads.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run PickleMapper, for that purpose:
- Neon (database and sign-in)
- DigitalOcean (hosting)
- Cloudflare (network, security and email forwarding)
- Resend (sending email)
- Google (sign-in with Google, and Google Analytics)
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Your choices
- Every email has a link to stop that kind of email. You can also turn reminders off in Settings.
- To get a copy of your data, or to delete your account and everything saved with it, email hello@picklemapper.comfrom the address on your account. We'll do it within 30 days.
- You can block or delete analytics cookies in your browser; the site works without them.
How long we keep it
Account data stays until you ask us to delete it. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe, then only a record that you unsubscribed. Analytics data is kept by Google for up to 14 months.
